The Chinese symbol of the Dragon and Phoenix represents a harmonious marriage as well as the good luck meaning. This unique wedding cake was iced with red fondant and designed with a gold dragon and phoenix on the front side of the cake. On the top of the cake is the gold double happiness symbol which stands for happiness. The wedding reception was held at the Cardinal Club downtown Raleigh, NC. Some other wedding professionals that took part in Wingo and Katie’s wedding were, Jim from Ninety Nine Entertainment, photographer Wendy Boyer from Dancing Heart Photography, Rebecca was the day of wedding coordinator from the Cardinal Club, the flowers were provided by Lyn Graves from Fresh Affairs, the videographer was John Hayes owner of Southern Video Design.
