This square wedding cake was iced in buttercream then imprinted to give it the quilted look. The pearls were made of buttercream as well and then painted with pearl coloring. The ribbon band around the base of each tier is made of cream colored fondant. The location of the wedding reception was at the Washington Duke Inn located in Durham, NC.
